Fortinet Wins "Company of the Year" From the British Columbia Technology Industry Association (BCTIA)

SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/10/14 -- Fortinet® (NASDAQ: FTNT) -- a world leader in high-performance network security -- today announced it was named "Company of the Year" at this year's Technology Impact Awards (TIAs), which was hosted by the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) and held at the Vancouver Convention Centre on June 5, 2014. For more than two decades, the Technology Impact Awards have awarded top companies and innovation.

Fortinet was founded in 2000 and is a worldwide provider of enterprise network security appliances. Fortinet's top priority is innovation, and the company's Burnaby, BC workforce includes a research and development team that consists of 500 developers and engineers, which complements the company's R&D teams elsewhere and the company's overall workforce of 2,500 employees.
